Dog Park Visits

Lainey will take your pup on a feild trip to a nearby fenced in dog park for running and socializing! Socializing your dog throughout their life is extremely important for their well being. If your dog ever looks sad or bored it's probably because they are! With this service you'll be giving them stimulation and friends!

 

This includes full service care and supervision of your dog. I play fetch with them and encourage them to play. I will bring them back to you, tired and happy! Things I always bring with me are poop bags, water and an air horn for safety. 

 

I have a lot of experience around dogs, reading their behavior and interactions. I can usually spot a "disagreement" between dogs immediately, sometimes beforehand. However, things do happen and you can't always be quick enough in certain situations. Please be aware, while there are many positives to taking your dog to the park, there is no way to fully guarantee their safety. With public or private dog parks, dogs can simply not get along. There are many factors that can lead to scuffles or fights that can be traumatizing to your pet. Even if all goes well, well intentioned dogs having fun and playing together may lead to accidental injuries. (Ex: I've seen a dog trip on a root in the ground)

 

Please note, your dog must have training and experience being around other dogs. While I do mediate when dogs play, I will not introduce a reactive/unsafe dog to other dogs. You must have a dog park within 10 minutes of your home. If you have a dog park membership, please have a key available for the visit. Dogs must be spayed or neutered and fully vaccinated. Dog park visits are available during pet sittings, includes a 1 hour visit, once per day. Any additional visits are available at a cost, pricing is below. Travel time not included.
