Scheduling

Your groomer will assess your pet based on their behavior, coat type, and chosen hairstyle and recommend a grooming schedule based on that assessment. Pre-booking is now a requirement for all groom services apart from nail trims. Due to the nature of this type of scheduling , there may not be room to adjust or modify your appointment after the fact. Please let your groomer know your day/time preferences and will do the best to accommodate you. You can also utilize key on file services!

Matting

Matted hair or fur are knots that build up into clumps that pull at your pets thin skin causing them pain and discomfort. If left uncared for mats can get progressively worse attracting dirt and moisture causing sores to form underneath at the skin. Everything should be done to avoid this. These type of mats cannot be brushed out and the only way to remove them safely and humanely is to shave them down. If mat removal is necessary, an hourly charge of $60 per hour will replace the groom service price.

Lainey's Grooming is not liable for any injury that may occur during the mat removal process as well as any injuries that are uncovered from mat removal.

Refusal of Service

Lainey's Grooming reserves the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason. Appointments will not be scheduled until cancellation fees are paid.

 

Cancellations

A $20 cancellation fee will apply to all appointments cancelled or rescheduled after 24 hours of scheduling. This is to discourage clients from cancelling, as appointments may not be able to be filled, resulting in total loss of revenue. Cancelling after 5pm two days before your appointment will result in a fee equal to the amount of the scheduled service price.  Reminders for your appointment will be sent via text message or email (customer preference), at 10:00am three days prior to appointment.

Media Release

Clients authorize Lainey's grooming to take photographs and video content of their pet(s) for social media, website, advertising, and any other business related matters.
